Mumbai CM Devendra Fadnavis swearing-in ceremony attended by Bollywood celebrities.
Member of Bharatiya Janata Party, Devendra Fadnavis, was sworn in as Maharashtra’s 27th Chief Minister in a grand ceremony held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on October 31, 2014. The ceremony witnessed more than 30,000 people, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thakeray, top BJP leaders and Bollywood stars.
Stars who attended the event included Poonam Dhillon, Mugdha Godse and Indian business tycoon Anil Ambani. In the recently concluded election, BJP won 122 seats out of 288 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly.
Fadnavis has promised to bring legislations that will help him serve his state better.
