Aamir Khan plays the role of Mahavir Phogat in the movie. For those who haven’t watched the film yet – Dangal is a biopic based on the story of Wrestler Mahavir Phogat and how he trained his daughters Babita and Geeta Phogat to become Wrestling world champions – against all odds.
Mahavir Phogat began training his girls from a very young age. He realizes that his daughters too have the potential to become wrestlers when they come after beating up some boys one day.

Geeta Phogat’s Powerful Moment
This show of confidence by Geeta Phogat (played by Fatima Sana Sheikh) in the movie is one of the key moments in the entire story.
Babita Phogat’s Wrestling Victory
(Spoiler Alert) Geeta’s younger sister too went on to score a silver medal in the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in New Delhi, just a day after Geeta Phogat secured a Gold Medal for India in the Freestyle Women’s Wrestling Championship!
