Ace fashion designer Kunal Rawal presented his unique collection at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017 Edition, presented by Lamborghini.
For those who aren’t acquainted with the designer, Kunal Rawal is an ace menswear designer, known for his eccentric designs, patterns and embroidery.
The show was held in the parking lot of the LFW 2017 venue for Day 1, and started with a model revving up a Lamborghini and ended with Varun Dhawan walking the ramp as showstopper for the designer. He looked dashing in a white embroidered churidar- kurta, with a contemporary hint.
His show, like always has a theme and this time it was The Race of Separates, a collection of luxury wear which can be worn on every occasion. The collection focused on light colors like blues, yellows and whites for the summer while, his favorites purple and black too creeped into designs. His collection featured a lot of embroidery, accessories, fancy shoes and prints. Kunal focused a lot on the design of the set too, which created the perfect atmosphere this evening!
Other celebrities who graced Kunal Rawal Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017 show included Sonakshi Sinha, Prateik Babbar, Mohit Marwah and Arjun Kapoor.

The Fugly actor, Mohit Marwah walked down the ramp in a black kurta with a contemporary cut paired with black sneakers.
Arjun Kapoor
Actor Arjun Kapoor walked down the ramp in a simple yet elegant embroidered black kurta, paired with a white churidaar and classy black shoes.
Sonakshi Sinha
The actress looked stunning in Kunal Rawal creations paired with a studded bag and white heels. She paired her outfit with a gold choker and let her tresses down, looking ravishing!

Varun Dhawan
And here’s showstopper Varun Dhawan!
He walked down the ramp in a dapper Kunal Rawal embroidered kurta – churidaar, paired with beige loafers and an off-white embroidered waist-coat.
The show ended with Kunal Rawal walking down the aisle with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor, along with his other models.
Varun and Arjun gave him a hero’s welcome by carrying his on their shoulders. We smell some bromance brewing here!
