Short film Hawa Badlo screened for traffic cops in Mumbai
Bollywood actors Vivek Oberoi and Swara Bhaskar hosted a screening of their short film ‘Hawa Badlo’ in Mumbai on February 28, 2017. The movie is made by iKarmik Media and Publishing Ltd. and received the award for Best Film on Social Issues at the International Film festival of Prayag.
‘Hawa Badlo’ is a part of a campaign that was started by Social Cloud Ventures. The short movie stars Vivek Oberoi, Swara Bhaskar, Govind Namdev, Kalki Koechlin and Vir Das. The movie makes the audience feel the guilt of the mistake of negligence towards the traffic police.
The campaign of ‘Hawa Badlo’ is also supported by the Mumbai Police. The screening event also saw the presence of Joint Commissioner of Police Mr. Milind Barambhe. Barambhe was all praises for the cause and said, “Mumbai Police know the hazards of their job. But an initiative like this coming from the civil society gives a very good signal about the relationship between society and traffic cops.”
The screening event also saw traffic cops with their families.
