Bollywood Garam: Well known film maker Anurag Kashyap will soon be tying the knot with his girlfriend Kalki Koechlin. Anurag and Kalki have been living together since the past two years and had got engaged in January.
The couple will get married on 30th April 2011, in a very private affair in either Anurag’s hometown Banaras or Kalki’s home town Pondicherry. The date of the wedding was jointly decide by Anurag’s and Kalki’s parents.
A close friend of the couple has said that the couple’s family wanted them to get married in a very simple ceremony. The director had not informed anyone and had confessed about his marriage reports just recently.
Anurag confessed and said that he is leaving soon and is in a hurry to get his wedding sherwani ready for the ceremony. The ‘Dev D’ director said that the ceremony will be a very simple one, away from all the media attention. Anurag was earlier married to Aarti Bajaj, an editor and also has a daughter. Meanwhile, Kalki revealed that they would have a traditional south Indian style wedding in Ooty. The Dev D actress will be wearing a red and white sari for the wedding ceremony, while Anurag will be wearing a dhoti. Kali also revealed that Anurag’s daughter Aaliya is happy for them.
