Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s journey from their friendship to a strong marriage
Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are one of the strongest couples in Bollywood. As the couple complete ten years of marriage, Ash and Abhi as they are fondly known as, continue to be the strongest pillars for each other. Abhishek and Aishwarya observed their wedding anniversary as they visited the famous Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai on April 20, 2017. The couple was accompanied by their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
Aishwarya looked gorgeous in a white embroidered outfit while Abhishek appeared in a white kurta and pyjama with an orange Nehru jacket. Little Aaradhya too looked pretty in a white outfit. The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress recently lost her father Krishnaraj Rai due to which celebrations are likely to take a back seat. However, the couple found a much better way by visiting a temple instead of lavish celebrations.
Abhishek earlier in the day took his Twitter account to thank his fans for all the wishes and wrote, “And just like that…. It’s been 10 years! Thank you all for the wishes for Aishwarya and I. Lots of love.” The Refugee actor in an earlier interview revealed about how their friendship grew and blossomed in to a beautiful relationship. Abhishek revealed that he proposed to Aishwarya in New York and the Dhoom 2 actress immediately accepted his proposal.
The two got married in a lavish wedding ceremony on April 20, 2007 in Mumbai. The wedding was a pretty lavish with presence of eminent B’town personalities, politicians and businessmen as guests. Abhishek and Aishwarya were blessed with a baby girl on November 16, 2011 and named her Aaradhya.
