From the Dabangg Tour, to Salman Khan and Lulia Vantur’s fight and her possible Bollywood acting debut – Here’s everything you need to know
Salman Khan and Lulia Vantur have long been rumored to be in a serious relationship, with some reports claiming that they may even be planning to tie the knot. While there has been no official confirmation about their romantic involvement, Lulia’s closeness to Salman and his family suggests that she is more than just a friend to the Bollywood superstar. The Romanian model-turned-singer recently accompanied the Khan family on their Maldives vacation, where they celebrated Salman’s nephew Ahil’s first birthday. On their return to Mumbai, Salman is believed to have gifted her an apartment close to his Galaxy Apartments residence, so that she doesn’t have to look for a place to stay every time she is in the city. In a recent video posted on her Instagram page after a show in Dubai, Lulia says she is going ‘back home to Mumbai’, making it clear that she finds herself very much at home in India now.
However, latest reports now claim that all is not well with the rumored couple. The source of their trouble is said to be Salman’s DaBangg Tour of Australia and New Zealand, where the actor was traveling this past week with Sonakshi Sinha, Daisy Shah, Bipasha Basu, Maneish Paul and others. He also took several family-members along for the trip, including his mother Salma, sister Arpita and her husband Ayush, but Lulia was conspicuously absent. Apparently she was keen on being part of the tour and even wanted to perform a song on stage, but Salman is said to have turned down the idea. While the organizers were also reluctant to have Lulia sing, Salman’s refusal to vouch for her has supposedly led to an angry spat between the two. With Salman set to return home, it remains to be seen if he plans to make it up to his upset lady.
Meanwhile, Lulia has reportedly been fielding a number of interesting offers to launch an acting career of her own in Bollywood. Having made her singing debut with Himesh Reshammiya’s album Aap Se Mausiiquii, the Romanian beauty has impressed Indian audiences thus far with her singing talent. It seems she might now be making her way to the big screens, as she has been impressed with the roles on offer. While Lulia maintains that her top priority is singing and her passion will always be music, she is open to the idea of acting ‘for the sake of exploring’. Whether it’s her relationship with Salman or developments in her professional career, Lulia Vantur is definitely one to watch in the days to come.
