Rana Daggubati, Shriya Saran and Jayam Ravi host grand press event to launch SIIMA Awards 2017 in Abu Dhabi
Popular south actors Rana Daggubati, Shriya Saran and Jayam Ravi hosted the press event for the upcoming SIIMA Awards 2017 in Abu Dhabi on May 2, 2017. This year the SIIMA Awards will be hosted for the first time at Abu Dhabi from June 30 to July 1.
The press event also saw a special preview of the upcoming Tamil movie Vanamagan starring Jayam Ravi and Sayyesha. The upcoming flick is an action adventure which will release on May 19, 2017. Watch official Vanamagan trailer.
Moving on to stars at the press conference – Shriya Saran looked pretty in a floral gown while Rana Daggubati, who’s recently released film Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has broken all box office records, looked dapper in a formal attire. Actor Jayam too looked splendid in a black suit.
The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) was established in 2012 to give the southern cinema industry a boost and the global recognition it deserves. This includes film in the Tamil, Telegu, Malyalam and Kannada dialects that are extremely popular in the country, with hits making crores of rupees at the box office. SIIMA was held for the first time in Dubai and had award categories such as Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress and so on and so forth.
