Shraddha Kapoor comes out clean on those hook-up rumours with Farhan Akhtar

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor finally opened up about her rumoured relationship with Rock On star, Farhan Akhtar. Rumours of their alleged relationship continues to be the hottest news of B-Town. Now that Farhan Akhtar is legally divorced from Adhuna Bhabani, it has added more fuel to the fire. This comes after reports that couple had moved in together which led to Shraddha’s father, the legendary Shakti Kapoor, forcibly dragging her back to their house.

Talking to a popular daily about these rumours, Shraddha said that, “The level of fiction can go to incredible heights. I choose to ignore them and just focus on my work.” She also said “Yes”  when asked about Farhan Akhtar being her friend. But that could just be the same old card that celebrities have tried to pull out for ages now. “We are good friends.” Does the public believe this anymore? There were even reports that there was a slight altercation between Farhan Akhtar and Shraddha’s co-star, Aditya Roy Kapoor that suspiciously looks like a man trying to be protective of his woman.

The young actress had earlier slammed media for going overboard. She had told PTI that she is usually unaffected by such news, but involving her family was unfair. “The link-up rumours have not affected me at all, but this time it did as it involved my family. If you paint a wrong picture and involve family, it’s not fair,” Shraddha had said.

On the work front, Shraddha will be next seen in Half Girlfriend opposite Arjun  Kapoor, which will release in theatres on May 19, 2017. She will also be seen in The Queen of Mumba – Haseena in the lead role. The movie is based on the life of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar. Her second biopic will be Saina based on world famous badminton player, Saina Nehwal.
