The makers of the movie ‘Raanjhnaa’ have released the first trailer of the flick starring Sonam Kapoor and South Indian superstar Dhanush. The movie will mark the debut of the popular actor, who made it big with the ‘Kolaveri Di’ song.
The movie has been set in the ancient and traditional city of Varanasi. The trailer has shown a riot of colours and celebration of love. Dhanush, while releasing the trailer on Twitter wrote, “RAANJHANAA official trailer jai bholenath!! Had har mahadev.” The actor will be promoting the movie in Hindi. Dhanush is married the South Indian mega star Rajinikanth’s daughter – Aishwaryaa.
Just hours before the official launch the actor tweeted, “And its a big day..RAANJHANAA trailer releases tonight at 12. 13 and a half hours to go.aaj mein hindi mein baat karunga.” The movie is directed by Anand L Rai, who had also directed the movie ‘Tanu Weds Manu’.
The plot of the movie revolves around an intense love story, which is set up in the city of Varanasi. The movie has also brought Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol back together. The couple had shared the screen in the movie ‘Aisha’ in the past. The new movie is all set to hit the theatres on June 21, 2013. Checkout the official trailer of ‘Raanjhnaa’ below.
