Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao spotted at actress late Reema Lagoo’s funeral
Actor Aamir Khan along with wife Kiran Rao turned up for actress Reema Lagoo’s funeral, who passed away due to cardiac arrest on May 18, 2017. The funeral was also attended by Aamir’s former wife Reena Dutta.
Aamir interacted with the media outside Reema’s residence and said, “We all are in shock. We don’t think she was going through any difficulties. It all happened suddenly and it’s truly sad. My first film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak was with Reema Ji. She was an amazing actress and had a clean heart. When we were working on the water protection project, she participated more than the youngsters. May her soul rest in peace!” The actor has worked with Reema in the movies like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Rangeela.
The actress became a household name, when she appeared on the comedy TV show Tu Tu Main Main, which also starred Supriya Pilgaonkar. Reema also worked in the TV series Shrimaan Shrimati and played the role of a mother in the movies like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kal Ho Na Ho, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon and more.
