Tubelight trailer shows Salman Khan as an adorable misfit in times of war

After a long wait the official Tubelight trailer is finally out! Released by Salman Khan and Kabir Khan earlier in the day for the media, it was released for audiences across India through Star Gold and Star Plus at 8:59 pm.

This is what Salman Khan had to say at Tubelight’s trailer launch

Tubelight’s trailer gives us a peek into the story of an innocent Laxman Bisht who’s brother volunteers to join the army in the Sino-Indo War in 1962. As the bodies of martyred soldiers start pouring into the village, Laxman doesn’t give up hope and believes that his brother will return. Salman Khan aka Laxman’s conviction with which he says “Mujhe Yakeen Hai” leaves everyone emotional. The trailer is as emotional as the teaser and Salman’s innocence will simply melt your heart! His performance and choice of role in Kabir Khan’s Tubelight is already being appreciated by fans on Twitter.

The story is set in a small town called Jagatpur and shows the strong bond between brother, Laxman (Salman Khan) and Bharat (Sohail Khan). Seems like makers of the movie have left no stone unturned to create an authentic 60s experience for film viewers and the sheer detail of each aspect in the movie is astounding. The official Tubelight trailer also gives us a glimpse of Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and child artist Matin Rey Tangu. Since no details have been released about the role played by the actors, the trailer has left viewers wondering about their characters.
