Mr. India is still remembered for its iconic dialogues, songs and hard hitting story
It has been 30 years since the Anil Kapoor and Sridevi starrer Mr. India released in theatres in 1987. People of the 90s and the 80s generation can never forget the adventures of Arun Verma, who takes care of orphans, who makes the best use of the watch that makes him invisible. The film also starred Amrish Puri as Mogambo, who is still remembered as the best baddie ever in Bollywood.
An elated producer Boney Kapoor said, “I’m so happy and proud that people remember Mr India fondly even today. With ‘Mr India’, we were never dependent on the stardom of the actors, just on the magic of the film.” Mr. India also starred Aftab Shivdasani, as a child actor who is today a successful star in Bollywood. The film also starred Ahmed Khan as a child actor, who is today an established choreographer.
