Richa Chadda visited an animal rescue centre ResQ Charitable Trust in Pune that works towards rescuing and rehabilitation of sick and injured animals
Indian actress Richa Chadda is not just in love with her profession but is also a huge animal lover. The Fukrey actress visited the ResQ Charitable Trust which is a rescue centre for hurt and injured street animals in Pune on May 30, 2017. The actress was happy to be at the rescue centre for animals and was seen cuddling and pampering animals there.
Chadda, who was last seen in the film Sarabjit, also posed with a few kittens and pups. The best part was that, that the actress did not just spend time with cats and dogs but also fed a few donkeys, cows, buffaloes and horses that were rescued and were recovering at the centre. Richa who always supports causes related to animals said, “I request people to firstly not buy animals but adopt them from places like this one.”
The actress also said that people could sponsor the upbringing of an animal and track their progress online. Neha Panchamiya, the co-founder of the ResQ Charitable Trust spoke about Richa’s involvement in helping the animals at their rescue centre and said, “She visited the centre and showed keen interest in knowing the stories of all the animals and making sure she spent some quality time with them”. The ResQ Charitable Trust is a not-for-profit organization which operates in Pune and works towards the rescue and rehabilitation of injured and sick animals. The Trust also conducts awareness and education programs.
On the work front, Richa has a number of projects that she is working on including Fukrey Returns, Cabaret, Love Sonia and Aur Devdas. The actress made her debut in Bollywood with the film Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! in 2008 has soared to success with her movies.
