Shilpa Shetty and Juhi Chawla claim the Phalke Style Icon and Best Actress for Chalk n Duster respectively at Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2017
Stars from Bollywood descended at the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Awards ceremony held in Mumbai on June 1, 2017. The awards ceremony is held annually and the recipients are recognized and honored for their outstanding contribution in cinema. Celebrities from Bollywood Shilpa Shetty, Juhi Chawla, Raveena Tandon, Parikshit Sahni, Sushant Singh Rajput and others graced the awards ceremony.
Shilpa Shetty, who looked gorgeous in a ethnic-western fusion outfit, won the Phalke Style Icon award while Juhi Chawla won the Award for her performance in the film Chalk n Duster. The Bol Radha Bol actress appeared in a purple ethnic outfit for the occasion. The award ceremony also announced Priyanka Chopra as the International Icon and her Marathi production Ventilator, too, won the honor.
Comedian Kapil Sharma too won the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the second time but could not make it to the event on time and had to collect it from the coordinator. The comedy show host was admitted to hospital yesterday after complaining of uneasiness.
