Sanjay Leela Bhansali-helmed Padmavati is one of the most awaited films of 2017. After unveiling Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone featuring posters, the makers have unveiled Ranveer Singh’s look in a new poster. The new poster has shown an intense look of Ranveer, who will be seen playing the role of Alauddin Khilji.
A topless Ranveer can be seen showing an intense and fierceful look with long hair and is mesmerized by the beauty of Rani Padmini played by Deepika. Deepika was the one who unveiled the first look of the film. The actress in the poster was seen as Rani Padmini and soon the poster went viral on the internet. Most of the people appreciated Deepika as Rani Padmini, but there were a few who criticized her unibrow look.
The film has been scheduled to be released on December 1, 2017, but reports say that the director is due to shoot a major portion of Rani Padmini. A set is being constructed adjacent to the one he is currently shooting on and will soon be juggling between the two sets to wrap the movie on time. Padmavati was earlier expected to be released on November 17, 2017 but Bhansali convinced the producers to postpone the date by two weeks so that he could complete the remaining portions.
