The makers of Padman have finally began the promotions of the film. Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor were snapped promoting the flick in Mumbai on January 12, 2018.
The Singh Is King star looked dapper in his new bald look and was seen wearing a blue pullover and black pants while style diva Sonam was seen in a printed maxi outfit. Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna will be making her debut as a producer with the banner Mrs. Funnybones Productions.
The R Balki film is ready to be released in theatres on January 25, 2018. The film is based on spreading awareness among the rural women the importance of menstrual hygiene. Padman is a biopic on the national hero Arunachalam Muruganantham. The film also stars Radhika Apte who will be seen playing Akshay’s wife. Akshay will be seen playing the lead, who invents low-cost sanitary pads while Sonam will be seen playing the role of a social worker, who helps Akshay spread the awareness among rural women.
