Rajkummar Rao, is on a promotional spree for his upcoming film Omerta. The film is a story about a terrorist Omar Saeed Sheikh, who is known for his involvement in kidnapping and murder of Daniel Pearl, a Wall Street Journal reporter. Rajkummar will be seen playing the lead role.
Once again Rajkummar has proved his versatility in acting skills. The actor has constantly proved his place by playing different types of films. Rajkummar at the promotional event looked dapper in a green t-shirt, black pants and a stylish black jacket.
The actor in a statement said, “My first as an anti-hero and exhausting as an actor. To feel the hate towards another human-being without any remorse can take quite a toll. It took me a while to shed this character.” Rajkummar in an earlier interview shared that Omerta was more challenging that his film Trapped.
Omerta is directed by Hansal Mehta and is due to be released in theatres on April 20, 2018. The film also stars Rupinder Nagra and Rajesh Tailang.
