Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut last tasted success with her film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and took away with the credit alone. The box office results showed that Kangana is surely one of the top contenders in the industry and also proved that women centric films can also bring success. Now the actress is gearing up with her upcoming film Mental Hai Kya which also stars Rajkummar Rao.
The makers have shifted the release date of the film a few times and have finally locked the date to present the trailer of the quirky drama. The team has planned a grand launch of the trailer on June 19, 2019. Kangana, Rajkummar and the entire team of Mental Hai Kya will be present for the theatrical trailer launch.
The film is about two characters played by Kangana and Rajkummar. Kangana will be seen playing the role of a girl who suffers from a mental condition and the films is around the social taboos attached to the topic. The makers will be talking about the stigma that is attached to depression and mental illness.
Kangana is presently not in town and will be back to the bay to launch the first theatrical promo. There were earlier reports that the makers are considering a change of the title but finally stuck to the original one.
