Indian producer Bhushan Kumar has producer some of the remarkable films in the industry and even amidst the lockdown he is unstoppable. Kumar announced that the sequel to the popular films like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and De De Pyaar De are under works. The producer while talking to a media outlet said that they are surely doing Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 2 as it is a great franchise to be taken forward.
The film starred Kartik Aryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh and was released in 2018 and was about a friendship between two friends. On the other hand the producer also confirmed about the sequel to the 2019 film De De Pyaar De which starred Ajay Devgn and Tabu. The film also starred Rakul Preet Singh and was helmed by Luv Ranjan.
Bhushan Kumar is also preparing for his upcoming film Bhuj The Pride of India which will star Ajay Devgn. The makers of the film were shooting before the government announced a lockdown and the entire shoot was called off. The producers then said that not much of the shoot was left but added that he was not sure if the film could be released during its planned August, 2020 release date.
The lockdown situation has not just halted the shoots, but has also banned cinema halls and multiplexes from functioning.
