Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund has been in news ever since it was announced by the makers. The film is one of the most awaited films of 2022 and was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The makers had the option to release the film on an OTT platform, but they decided to wait for it to be released in theatres. The film has now got a release date and is all set to be released in theatres on March 4, 2022.
Jhund is helmed by Nagraj Manjule of the Marathi blockbuster Sairat fame. The makers have also released a teaser of the film that has shown a group of youngsters creating music from whatever is around them. This is when the lead actor Amitabh Bachchan enters and his ‘Jhund’ follows his footsteps. Going by the teaser, the audience cannot wait to catch the actual film in theatres.
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Savita Raj Hiremath, Nagraj Manjule and others under the banner of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment & Aatpat. On the work front Amitabh Bachchan has more projects line up apart from Jhund.
The actor is also expected to be seen in the upcoming film Brahmastra which also stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The trilogy is helmed by Ayan Mukerji and is ready to be released on September 9, 2022.
