Indian actress Sonam Kapoor has a reason to rejoice as she and her husband Anand Ahuja are expecting their first child together. The couple made the announcement in the cutest way possible by sharing a few pictures from their maternity shoot.
The pictures has shown Sonam dressed in a black full-sleeved monokini as she rests her head on her husband’s lap and holds her baby bump. Soon after the news broke on the internet, congratulatory messages started to pour in. Khushi Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and several colleages, friends and fans congratulated the couple.
Sonam and Anand dated for a while and kept their relationship private. The couple got married in May 2018 in a hush-hush yet lavish wedding in Mumbai. Anand and Sonam have never shied away to share their love life post wedding and kept sharing posts on social media.
On the work front, Sonam was last seen in the film The Zoya Factor in which she played the role of Zoya Singh Solanki. She also appeared in the Netflix film AK vs AK where she played herself. The film was directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and written by Anurag Kashyap. AK vs AK as released in December 2020 on the popular OTT platform Netflix. The film had Anil Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Anurag Kashyap and Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing important roles.
