The year 2022 was clouded with the reports that Akshay Kumar will no longer be a part of the popular Hera Pheri franchise. With the makers ready with Hera Pheri 3 in the making, There were reports that Akshay had backed out of the project over creative differences. However, the good news here is that things have been sorted out and Akshay along with Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal have started filming for Hera Pheri 3 in Mumbai on February 21, 2023.
Things started to progress a week back when Akshay, Paresh and Suniel had met at Empire Studios in Mumbai, where they had a discussion about the future of the promising franchise. It has to be noticed that this was the official meet for the film and that a number of other meetings were also held for the film since the past few months.
With the latest progress, the team is now confident that Hera Pheri 3 will be able to do complete justice to the franchise and will turn out to be a wholesome entertainer. Hera Pheri had originally gone on floors at the Empire Studios in Mumbai in the year 1999 and now 24 years later the makers have returned to the same place and are ready to make another promising entertainer.
More news about the rest of the cast could be announced in the upcoming days.
