Bollywood Garam: Looks like Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar will have to wait yet again to cast Kareena Kapoor in his movie. After failing to rope in Kareena with Page 3 and Fashion, Bhandarkar thought he accomplished his mission when Kapoor agreed to sign up for his next movie ‘Heroine’, but call it jinxed or just the trend, Miss. Kapoor ended up turning down the offer. Bhandarakar maybe disappointed with the loss of his main ‘herione’, but he’s all smiles now that a Bollywood queen has taken up his offer – Aishwarya Rai!

The buzz around town is that Kareena Kapoor was happy to be a part of the ‘Fashion’ director’s next movie, but she was taken aback by the script, because it allegedly mirrored her life and her realtionship with Saif Ali Khan to a big extent. And to add to it, the movie required some sensous ans steamy scenes with her co-star, and the ‘Golmaal’ actress didn’t feel too good about it. But now that Kareena won’t be part of ‘Heroine’, Bhandarkar has made sure that his new actress Aishwarya Rai is fine with the script, and he has even gone ahead and toned it down a bit for the ‘Robot’ star.

With the commercial success of both ‘Page 3’ and ‘Fashion’ which furthered the careers of Konkona Sen Sharma and Priyanka Chopra, respectively, “Hereoine” would have done the same for Bebo, but it’s now Ash’s gain.
