Bollywood Garam: Pakistani model-turned-actress Humaima Malik has opened up to the Indian media about her relationship with former Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akram. The model – who will be making her Bollywood debut in ‘Bol – did not hesitate to tell every one that she is dating Wasim and shares a deep relationship with him.
While talking about her relationship with Wasim, Humaima said that that they have known each other for more than a year and that they enjoy each others company. The 23 year-old actress added that the player is very caring and understanding.
The actress spoke about their age difference, and said that though he is 45, they never had any issues between them. The actress will soon be seen in the movie ‘Bol’ opposite Atif Aslam. Humaima said that Wasim is more excited for the movie than her.
Humaima went on to say that Wasim keeps telling her that he is lucky to have her in his life. While talking about her past, she said that she had got married at the age of 18 to Shamoon Abbasi, but got divorced after two years.
The cricketer Wasim was earlier married to Huma, who passed away in 2009 after suffering from heart and kidney complications. Humaima said that she had known Huma and that Wasim still misses her.
Rumour has it that Humaima is now planning to visit Delhi for the IPL match, as Wasim happens to be the coach for the Kolkata Knight Riders IPL team.
