BollywoodGaram.com: Bollywood actress Twinkle Khanna reportedly underwent a surgery after being admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on February 2, 2014. Reports say that the famous actress complained of recurring stomach aches and was admitted after her pain became unbearable.
The doctors diagnosed Khanna with kidney stones and advised her to undergo surgery right away. Khanna’s husband, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has a packed shooting schedule, but still managed to visit his wife during intervals. Akshay was supposed to make an appearance at a derby event, but cancelled in order to spend time with his wife at the hospital.
However, Akshay honored his commitments to the brand as the brand ambassador and went ahead with the event. Sources from the hospital say that Akshay was the one who accompanied Twinkle when she was admitted on February 2, 2014.
Akshay and Twinkle were married on January 17, 2001 and they have a son and a daughter. Twinkle is the daughter of the late veteran star Rajesh Khanna and his wife, Dimple Kapadia. Akshay and Twinkle’s first child Aarav was born in September 2002 and their daughter Nitara was born on September 25, 2012. Akshay married Twinkle after they were engaged twice.
