Gorgeous Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is back with another highly anticipated movie and this time it is ‘Highway’. In the new flick, the actress will be seen in a hard-core role, one that is completely different from her work in her debut movie, ‘Student Of The Year’.
In ‘Highway’, Bhatt is seen playing the role of Veera Tripathi, who is the daughter of a political tycoon based in Delhi. Veera gets kidnapped just days before her marriage, when she goes for a ride and stops at a deserted gas station on the highway. She is kidnapped by a gang led by a criminal Mahabir Bhati, played by Bollywood star Randeep Hooda.
Even though Veera is supposed to panic in this situation, she starts enjoying her time away with the kidnappers as she realizes her independence. The makers of the movie have showed some stunning locations, which are spread from Delhi to the picturesque landscapes of Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir.
Alia Bhatt simply has to be checked out for her performance, as she pulls off every single scene sans makeup. Hooda offers a good performance as well and the audience will not be disappointed. ‘Highway’ cannot be called a love story, but it is a road movie and is worth checking out.
