Murder 2 movie review

Bollywood Garam: The much awaited movie from the Bhatt camp, Murder 2 has been released. For a change, actress Jacqueline Fernandez looks refreshing in the movie  and unlike Murder, the sequel has been directed by Mohit Suri.

The makers of the movie have brought an entire different story plot, which has done justice to the sequel. Actor Emraan Hashmi plays the role of Arjun, an ex-cop who is hired by a pimp in Goa for an unofficial assignment.

Arjun has to now find out about the several hookers, who have suddenly gone missing mysteriously. Later, it is found that all the girls were called by the same person, after which Reshma played by Sulagna, is sent under cover to catch the culprit red handed.

The makers have cleverly carved the movie, which does not look like suspense one. It’s all about the characters in the movie that have been manipulated by the director. There are a few sections of the investigative drama, but has not been overdone. Suri has made sure that the intensity of the movie has not gone over the top and has kept it subtle. Jacqueline Fernandez and Emraan’s chemistry in the movie is a turn off. Those interested in just entertainment can catch the movie.

The one thing to look forward to is the songs in the movie.
