Bollywood Garam: Bollywood flick Force has just passed its first weekend and has done a Rs. 16 crore business already. The movie had received a good opening and it seems like the cute pair of John Abraham and Genelia D’Souza has worked for the audience.
On September 30th, the film earned Rs. 5 crore, Rs. 4. 75 crores on 1st October and about Rs. 6.25 on 2nd October. The movie has proved to be the biggest opening for John as a solo lead.
The COO of Big Cinemas, Tushar Dhingra had said that the film has received a good opening and is also appealing the masses. Dhingra added that ‘Force’ did well in Ghaziabad, Meerut and some of the other small cities too.
The COO also said that it is a different film and that people are appreciating it because of its stunts and action sequences. John may not be new for the industry but has taken bit long and has always proved his versatility. Now it seems like he is all set to touch success and be one of the most wanted hero’s in Bollywood. Force is the remake of the Tamil film ‘Kaaka Kaaka’. This is the first time John has been paired with Genelia, which the audience has adored.
