TV viewers to be entertained by a new historical comedy, as Big Magic launches new show Akbar Birbal.
TV channel Big Magic launched its historical comedy show ‘Akbar Birbal’ at an even on August 12, 2014. The show will have Kiku Sharma playing the lead role of the regal Mughal king Akbar, while Delnaz Irani will be seen playing the role of wife Jodha. Actor Kishwer Merchant will take on the role of a dancer in Akbar’s court.
Big Magic issued a statement which said that the adaptation will ensure unseen and unmatched comedy entertainment.
The statement added that the format of the show has been designed keeping in mind the positioning of India’s first light entertainment channel and that it is proud to offer the audience a one-of-a-kind historical comedy.
