Bollywod actress Vidya Balan is now in trouble for her bold and sexy image carried in her recently released movie ‘The Dirty Picture’. Controversies seem to continue to bother the movie and its makers.
A city court has recently asked the police to book a case against Balan for posing for indecent pictures for the posters and the promotion of the movie. The Nampally criminal courts ordered the police to book a criminal case against the actress.
The petition in the court has been filed by SK Azad, after which the court has passed orders against the actress. In the last two days there have been protests by the anti-obscenity activists in some parts of Hyderabad and other towns in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The police has also been asked to take action against the obscene posters displayed for advertisements of the movie. The court has ordered the police to book a case against the actress under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. According to the petitioner, the posters as well as the hoardings of the of the film are spoiling the minds of the people and is also putting a bad impression on the society.
