The makers of the movie ‘Rowdy Rathore’ recently hired the street painters for making the poster of the movie. Some of the sources from the production unit revealed that the lead actors of the movie Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha spent almost four hours standing still for the painters.
The actors had to stand still for long so that the artists could create the poster flawlessly. The makers hired four painters and they worked simultaneously.
Four different painters created four different posters. All the four versions will soon be revealed and had one of them has been released now. The idea of hiring the street painters was given by the co-producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Bhansali has intended that he wants to revive the art form that was popular in the 80s but phased out with the arrival of the latest technology and digital age. Akshay after a long time will be returning to the action genre and will be directed by Prabhu Deva. The actor feels that the poster has done complete justice to his character in the movie. The first poster of the movie was released during the Diwali festival and the recent one was released during the New Year. The movie is expected to be released by June 2012.
