After certain rumours hit the internet that Lata Mangeshkar wasn’t doing well, the legendary singer assured her fans that all the rumours were false and that she was doing fine. The 83 year old put to rest all the rumours that Mangeshkar wasn’t doing well since the past one month.
Lata took her Twitter account and wrote, “Namaskar, Pls Dont believe any rumours which are doing to rounds about my health ad well being. All is well by the Grace of God”. The rumours were circulated since a month on the internet.
Many of the fans even expressed their disgrace over the false rumours. Lata was last seen in a public event on September 28 last year and last sang the song ‘Daata Sun Le’ from Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Jail’.
This is not the first time such rumours have spread through Twitter. Earlier many celebrities have been victimised of such false rumours. Celebrities like Jackie Chan, Cher, Jon Bon Jovi, Mick Jagger have been the victims of such death hoax. Mangeshkar is one of the most respected singers in the country, who started her singing career back in the year 1942. The singer has recorded thousands if Hindi songs for films. Lata has also sung in more than 36 regional languages.
