Bollywood Garam: The makers of the movie ‘Rowdy Rathore’ have released the first trailer video on April 2, 2012. For a change, the protagonist Akshay Kumar is seen in an action mode instead of the regular comedy mode which he had maintained for a long time.
The trailer video has shown Akshay at his best while he shows off his anger, attitude, dance moves and the beauty of his lady played by Sonakshi Sinha. The movie is directed by ‘Wanted’ director Prabhu Deva, who introduces Rathore with a boom and terms him as ‘unbeatable’ and ‘unstoppable’.
In the official trailer, Akshay can be seen picking up fights with the other small rowdies in typical south Indian style where the impact of punch from the hero is unbeatable. Some might think that it may be inspired by some of the Salman Khan action sequences from his movies like ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Bodyguard’, but if you know Prabhu Deva, then you know there has to be a lots of well directed action stunts.
The trailer also boasts some of the heavy duty dialogues from the lead Akshay. Actress Sonakshi Sinha is also seen spreading her magic on the Rowdy, who falls for the beauty. It is good to see Sonakshi after a long time on screen and the pairing with Akshay also seems to work well. With ‘Rowdy Rathore’ Aksya after a long time will be seen returning to action genre.
