Bollywood super star Salman Khan is the most recent celebrity to join the popular social networking site Facebook. Even Amitabh Bachchan and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar recently joined the social network.
The ‘Dabangg’ star already has a twitter account and his Facebook account was officially launched on September 14, 2012. Salman in a video posted on his page said, “A lot of people told me ‘there are so many of (your) fake Facebook pages, so when are you joining it’. So here I am on this platform.”
There are already many fake accounts in his name and Khan has already warned them saying, “Jitne fake pages hain woh ya toh woh join kar le is page ko or kya kahun main?’Fake off’.” which means that the fake pages can join the fake pages or the real ones.
The actor also spokes about his NGO ‘Being Human’. Khan in the video said, “We are opening Being Human stores all over India, starting October.” But the main point is that the popularity of the actor can be understood from fact that the within hours the account had more than 2 lakh likes. May be this is also one of the reasons the stars had to increase his security.
