Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan recently donated Rs. 11 lakh to the Maharashtra Police Welfare Fund. Bachchan attended the ‘Road Safety Campaign’ in Thane which was organised by the Thane Police and this was where the actor made the announcement of the donation.
The ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ host also presented awards to the winners of the ‘Road Safety Campaign’ challenge. The actor said in his speech that he was also ready to contribute to a documentary on road safety. Bachchan went on to say that everyone must follow traffic rules and whenever he finds anyone violating traffic rules, he stops and requests the person to follow the rules.
