Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon and others grace Rangoon special screening of Rangoon
Celebrities from Bollywood attended the special screening of the movie ‘Rangoon’ held in Mumbai on February 22, 2017. The screening event saw the presence of the star cast of the movie – Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor, director Vishal Bharadwaj and producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
Once again, Saif Ali Khan gave the event a miss. Other celebrities who also turned up to watch the movie included Suniel Shetty with wife Mana Shetty, Ameesha Patel, Kriti Sanon, Mira Rajput, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Pooja Hegde, Sushant Singh Rajput, Bosco Martis, Allie Avram, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shahid Kapoor’s mother Neelima Azeem, Ishaan Khattar, Sanah Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and others.
The movie is all set to hit theatres on February 24, 2017 and the entire team looked excited and happy. The cast had a great time together and celebrated with a cake cutting ceremony. Shahid , Kangana, Mira, Vishal, Sajid and wife Warda were seen posing for the shutterbugs as they cut the cake.
On the work front, Sushant and Kriti are working on the upcoming movie ‘Raabta’. There were earlier reports that the two were dating each other, but they soon rubbished the rumours and clarified that they were nothing more than co-stars and good friends. Upcoming movie ‘Rangoon’ is a very ambitious movie for Vishal and was stalled for unknown reasons in the past. The movie was earlier titled ‘Julia’ and is written by Matthew Robbins, who has earlier collaborated for ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ in 2011. Apart from direction, Vishal has also composed the music for the movie. The full movie soundtrack was released on January 18, 2017.
