Lead actors of Naam Shabana interacted with fans at Gargi College and even taught simple women’s self defense techniques
Actors Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu and Manoj Bajpayee were at Gargi College, NewDelhi for promoting their upcoming movie Naam Shabana on March 27, 2017. Despite a hot weather in the capital city, the actors went ahead the promotions and had a great time interacting with students.
Akshay Kumar especially interacted with female students and taught them a few handy self defense techniques with the help of Taapsee Pannu. Both Taapsee and Akshay are proficient martial arts practitioners and the two have promoted the cause of women’s safety very seriously off-late. They even created a short Women’s Day special video show simple tricks which can come in handy in dire situations.
Upcoming movie Naam Shabana is a sequel to the hit movie Baby that saw Taapsee showcase her combating skills. The sequel will see Taapsee playing a cop, who is trained in mixed martial arts and Kudo. The audience will get to see more of Taapsee’s actions and stunts. Directed by Shivam Nair, the movie also stars Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa and Madhurima Tuli.
The movie is produced by Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia under the banner of Friday Filmworks along with Akshay Kumar. Akshay will be seen in a cameo role.
Naam Shabana is an action-spy thriller which releases all over India on March 31, 2017.
