Sonu Nigam claims that they didn’t use pitch corrector for recording Sachin Tendulkar’s voice while recording
Legendary cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar has made his singing debut with a collaboration with singer Sonu Nigam in a track titled Cricket Vali Beat Pe. The duo launched their track with a worldwide premiere on hit reality show, Indian Idol Season 9 Grand Finale on April 2, 2017 and it has already gone viral!
Sachin recently launched his mobile app, 100 MB, which he regards as the second innings of his career. This music video has shocked fans as master blaster Sachin never expressed his desire to sing, previously.
Talking about his singing debut to the media, Sachin said, “Although I am fond of music I never thought I will sing. They all ganged up and finally got me to sing. Sonu made me comfortable in the studio and told me to take the first strike. I have thanked all the cricketers with whom I have played in the six World Cups.”
Talking about getting Sachin Tendulkar to finally record the song, to leading daily Indian Express, Sonu Nigam said, “He is a very good singer. We did not use pitch corrector on his voice as he was singing in the right sur (tone) and (despite being) the shy person that he is, he got extremely comfortable the moment I kind of increased the masti (fun) quotient while we were shooting the video. It was wonderful and I am very happy that people are loving the song.”
