A R Rahman launches a Virtual Reality lounge and also tries his hand with VR experience during the event
Academy award winner A R Rahman launched a VR lounge in Mumbai on May 5, 2017. The composer not just launched the new lounge but also had a VR experience himself.
Rahman appeared in a formal blue shirt, black jacket and a black trouser for the launch event. The Indian composer started off as an independent composer with the blockbuster movie Roja directed by Mani Ratnam. During his early days as a composer, Rahman composed for Tamil, Telulu and Malayalam movies.
Rahman made his debut in Bollywood as a composer with the movie Rangeela featuring Aamir Khan and Urmila Matondkar. Some of the remarkable works of the composer cum singer included Dil Se, Doli Saja Ke Rakhna, Taal, Thakshak, Lagaan, Daud and more. In 2009, the composer won the most prestigious Academy Award for his track in the movie Slumdog Millionaire in 2009.
