Veteran actor Dilip Kumar’s brothers Ehsan Khan and Aslam Khan have tested positive for the coronavirus and have passed away. However, Dilip Kumar who is 97 years old has not been informed about the death of his brothers. Dilip Kumar’s wife Saira Banu in an interview revealed that the family does not wish to disclose the disturbing news with him.
Banu added that they have kept every kind of disturbing news away from the actor. The actress had also revealed that when Amitabh Bachchan had tested positive for COVID-19, even then he was not informed about it as he is very fond of the Natwarlal actor and that he would have been affected by that news.
It was earlier reported that Dilip Kumar’s brothers Ehsan Khan and Aslam Khan had tested positive and were put on non-invasive ventilators. But 88 year old Aslam Khan breathed his last on August 21, 2020 while Ehsan Khan breathed his last on September 3, 2020.
Banu also expressed that it is a huge loss for the family. A family friend of Dilip Kumar, Faisal Farooqui had shared the news from Dilip Kumar’s official Twitter handle. The veteran actor has been on and off in terms of health and every time he was admitted, the actor had managed to recover and return home.
