Bollywood Garam: Kashmaksh is another Bollywood master piece carved by the talented director Rituparno Ghosh. The movie is actually a Bengali movie, which has been dubbed in the Hindi language and is based on a Rabindranath Tagore story.

The movie is based in the 20s era, when marriages were fixed without the knowledge of the bride and the groom. Actress Riya Sen, Raima Sen, Jishu Sengupta and Dhritiman Chatterjee have given intelligent roles to play and have also done justice to their roles.

Riya plays the role of a village girl, who mistakes Ramesh as her husband. The role of Ramesh is played by Jishu, who is also unaware that the girl is not the one he had got married to. But later, the girl falls in love with Ramesh and is happy to do everything for her husband.

Slowly Ramesh comes to know about the fact and tries to find the girl’s real husband. The director has carved such delicate stories in to the movie and has managed to bring out the right amount of emotions. The actors too have performed their best. The movie may not be enjoyed by the young generation but is a must watch, just to witness the skill of the director in intersecting the stories. It will take you back to the olden days, where there was no internet or mobile phones, and where relationships were arranged.
