Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja after being out on bail has filed a complaint against the mobile manufacturer Micromax for an advertisement that was released by the company. Micromax on the festive occasion of Diwali has released an ad, which has poked fun of the actor.
A legal notice has been sent to the company and has said that such an ad is derogatory. The advertisement has shown two women talking about mobile phones gifted by their spouses after which they find the same cell phone with their servant, who then claims that it has been given to her by her employer.
The concept of the ad has infuriated the actor, after which he has decided to take legal action against the company. Dale Bhagwagar, the publicist of the actor has said that a legal notice has been sent to a company.
Bhagwagar had added that such an influencing commercial is an assassination of character. Shiney had challenged the Mumbai Fast Track court’s sentence of seven years of imprisonment, in the Bombay High Court and is currently out on bail. Bhagwagar has also said that such an commercial is unfair when the decision is still pending in the court and the company has no right to question on the character.
