Bollywood Garam: Canadian actress and model of Indian origin Lisa Ray recently revealed her engagement. The actress revealed that she has got engaged to boyfriend Jason Dehni on February 1, 2012 in Napa Valley.
Lisa took her Twitter account and wrote, “Just returned from the glorious Napa Valley- the gourmand’s and wine-lovers’ paradise- with a delicious announcement. I got engaged to the love of my life. Jason Dehni proposed in Napa. It’s my happiest day ever.” Even Jason added that he was looking for his angel Lisa, found her and brought her back an engaged woman.
The actress gave the credit of her engagement to her friends as they were the one who pointed her in the direction of true love. In the year 2009, the Ball & Chain actress was diagnosed with a rare cancer of plasma cells. After going through treatment for a year Lisa revealed that she managed to fight the disease.
Lisa earlier worked in south Indian films after she debuted in an advertisement for Bombay Dyeing. She also made her Bollywood debut in the year 2001 in the movie ‘Kasoor’ opposite Aftab Shivdasani. At that time, her voice was dubbed by Divya Dutta as she could not speak Hindi. The actress was earlier in a relationship with fashion photographer Paolo Zambaldi.
