Bollywood celebrities attend Phillauri special movie screening – Photos

Shahrukh Khan, Imtiaz Ali, Sakshi Tanwar, Anushka Sharma, Mehreen Kaur Pirzada amongst others spotted at Phillauri movie screening

Bollywood celebrities and the makers of Phillauri graced the special screening of the movie held in Mumbai on March 23, 2017. Despite the reported controversy surrounding the movie,  Anushka and Karnesh Sharma’s Phillauri hit theatres on March 24, 2017.

The movie screening event saw the presence of TV actress Sakshi Tanwar, who was recently appreciated for her role in the movie Dangal, Mehreen Pirzada, Karnesh Sharma, Anushka Sharma and Neha Bhasin.

Actress-producer Anushka looked great in a white t-shirt and navy blue pants, while Sakshi appeared in a white outfit with gold prints. Sharma looked elated at the screening event as she was accompanied by brother Karnesh.

Actress Mehreen, who will be seen in a supporting role in the movie, looked pretty in a black and mustard color outfit.

The movie has been produced under the banner of Clean Slate Films and Fox Star Studios. This romantic-comedy flick is directed by Anshai Lal and is Anushka’s second venture as a producer.

Anushka has earlier proved herself as a successful producer with the movie NH 10 which was a different genre. Phillauri will be a treat to the audience by showing Anushka’s funny side.

The official poster of the movie was released on February 3, 2017 and the music of the movie has already become popular. The story revolves around a young boy who is ready to get married to his childhood partner, but is forced to get married to a tree before he gets married to his partner. Here comes Shashi, played by Anushka, who is a friendly ghost and has claimed that the boy got married to her and not the tree.
