Vir Das is the first Indian to get his own Netflix show and he’s absolutely nailing it with Abroad Understanding #DasonNetflix

Vir Das’s Abroad Understanding went live on Netflix on April 25, 2017 and in less than 10 days, the show has become one of Neflix’s top shows in India! This is a big achievement for this Indian comedian as his work on the show has been critically acclaimed internationally. Vir Das has set the bar high for Indian stand-up comedians with his feat and celebrated his success with a grand bash yesterday, May 2.

His grand success bash was thrown in collaboration with Vir Das’s comedy company, Weirdass Comedy and was attended by close friends including Sara Jane Dias, Boman Irani,  Archanapuran Singh, Parmeet Sethi, Anu Menon, Aditi Mittal, Akashdeep Sehgal and Sheeba, Ram Sampath, Sona Mohapatra, Milap Zaveri, Meiyang Chang, Abhish Mathew, Kavi Shashtri, Niharika Khan, Jose Covaco, Suresh Menon, Shaad Randhawa and Puja Thakkar, Yudi and Sourabh Panth. With so many renowned actors and comedian, we’re sure Vir and wife Shivani Mathur had a blast!
