Balaji Telefilms halts shoot for after actor tests positive

Balaji Telefilms has halted the shoots of all of its series after one of its actors tested positive for coronavirus

Balaji Telefilms, the popular production house owned by Ekta Kapoor has made an announcement that the shoot of all of its TV shows have been halted. The company informed about it in a BSE filing and added that the one of their actors has tested positive for coronavirus. The statement added that all the necessary precautions and measures are being taken to ensure the safety of their cast and production crew, cast and employees.

Balaji Telefilms also said that the safety and well-being of their employees is of utmost importance to the company and that they are closely monitoring the situation and are taking all the necessary steps that could be required from time to time. The production company also said that they are following protocols that have been laid down by the Indian Film and Television Producers Council.

From the industry, superstar Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for coronavirus along with Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan. Later actor Parth Samthaan, from the series Kasauti Zindagi Kay also revealed that he tested positive.

The entire cast and crew of Kasauti Zindagi Kay had resumed the shoot in the month of June, 2020 after a shoot was stalled for about three months due to the coronavirus induced lockdown implemented across the nation.
