TV actress Divya Bhatnagar passes away after battling COVID-19

Divya Bhatnagar passed away at the age of 34 after testing positive for COVID019 in November


Indian TV actress Divya Bhatnagar breathed her last on December 7, 2020, after battling with COVID-19. The actress was diagnosed with coronavirus and pneumonia and passed away at the age of 34. It was last week when the actress was put on ventilator support and her family had informed that her condition was critical.

The family of the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress had also shifted her to another hospital to give her better medical facilities. Her co-star Devoleena Bhattacharjee was one of the closest friends of Divya and posted a heartfelt note for her deceased friend on her social media account.

A number of other celebrities from the TV industry also paid tribute to the actress by offering condolences. It was in late November, when Divya had shared a screen shot of her video calls on Instagram and appealed her fans to pray for her speedy recovery. But then in the first week of December her brother informed that she has been shifted to another hospital.

She was already suffering from pneumonia and had then tested positive for coronavirus which worsened. The actress was earlier on a non-invasive ventilation to support her breathing but then she was shifted to a ventilator after the exertion of shifting hospitals. Divya Bhatnagar breathed her last at Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai.
