BollywoodGaram.com: Bollywood actress Payal Rohatgi got engaged to her beau Sangram Singh on February 27, 2014. The announcement came from the actress, as she made it public on the social networking site Twitter.
Payal wrote, “Today on this auspicious day of Mahashivratri I am engaged to my jaan Sangram Singh. Thank you Lord Shiva for your blessings always”. The actress met Sangram on the popular show ‘Survivor India’.
The couple started seeing each other in 2012 and also did a movie together ‘Valentine’s Night’, following the announcement of their relationship on national TV. Sangram was seen on the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 7’. During Sangram’s stint on the show, his girlfriend Payal made many appearances in order to cheer him on.
During the second season of ‘Bigg Boss’, the actress was linked to politician Rahul Mahajan, who was a fellow inmate. At that time, he had just divorced his wife Shweta Singh. However, Rahul and Payal broke up when the actress cited physical assault and abuse as the main reason for the split. Payal was seen in a few Bollywood movies, including ‘Hey Baby’, ’36 China Town’, ‘Plan’, ‘Police Force’, ‘Rakht’, ‘Laila’ and ‘Tauba Tauba’. Apart from movies, the actress has participated in many TV shows, including ‘Zor Ka Jhatka’ and Sony TV’s ‘CID’.
