Bollywood Garam: The members of the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) had recently disrupted the shooting of an ad film which had actress Katrina Kaif. The members had reportedly questioned Katrina if she was a member of the FWICE.

It was then alleged by the members that the actress did not fulfill the legal formalities and had not registered with the federation which was mandatory for all the actors. The actress was at the shooting set and was issued a summons at the Mehboob studios, where the shooting was going on.

The federation members were convinced only when actor Salman Khan had interrupted by calling them and had assured them that the formalities of the membership would be done as soon as possible. The president of the federation, Dinesh Chaturvedi had said that they had not halted the shooting but had just come to inquire why the actress had not registered herself with them.

Chaturvedi insisted that it was a mandatory membership and that everyone from Amitabh Bachchan to Shahrukh Khan are registered with them. The president added that the actress may have a tight schedule, but the formalities do not take long. After Salman had convinced the members, only then the shooting of the ad film was resumed.
